If you don't see what you have in your "minds eye" on my site, describe it, and I'll make your ideas into tangible, "One of a Kind" pieces of collectible art. Both Kat and I are prolific artists, we create, that's what we do !
I make rustic, personalized wooden signs and Kathy creates gorgeous hand made quilts and wall hangings. The custom, rustic, barnwood bird houses, the ones with "stick" windows, are signed and numbered for your collection. The antique based, wind chimes are hand made by me. I make them from just about anything old,odd, or funky. I take found objects, anything with the age and "look," and create the art you see on my pages. The whimsical recyled metal garden sculptures stand over 4' tall and weigh around 75 lbs. The water colored Pet portraits are very finely executed, and will capture your pets spirit.
As an avid recycler, over the years I've made some awesome antique based wind chimes, bird feeders and rustic wooden signs. My new metal yard art sculptures are slowly taking form and will be introduced at the 1st spring garden show I do.
I sell mostly at outdoor art shows and I get a charge out of watching eyes light up when they see and hear 125 of my wind chimes hanging together! The most frequent comment heard is," 'how do I get the beads in the bottles ?'
The sound my chimes make is very soft and light to the ear. The harmonics, of the flat wear, is "sweet!" If they hold up against the seasons in western NY, I'm pretty sure they can handle your weather, within reason that is.
